The Counsellor & Psychotherapist Accredited Directory is an online platform designed to help individuals in Ireland find qualified, accredited counselling and psychotherapy professionals. It allows users to search by location, specialism, and therapy type to find the right support for their needs. We do list Students on the Directory but there is a prohibition for tge student to practice or charge a fee. Only Pre-Accredited, Accredited & Supervisors can charge a fee.
2. Are the therapists listed on the directory qualified?
Yes. Therapists listed on the directory are required to hold recognised professional qualifications and be accredited or working towards accreditation with a reputable professional body (such as IACP, IAHIP, PSI, ICPA, ACI or equivalent). Each therapist is responsible for ensuring their profile information is accurate and up to date. Studebts listed on the accredited register cannot work with clients or charge a fee.
3. Is my information private when I contact a therapist?
..Yes. When you contact a therapist through the directory, your communication goes directly to them. Any personal information you share is handled in accordance with the therapist's own privacy policy and professional ethical guidelines.
