ICPA

Welcome to the Irish Course Providers Association (ICPA).

This new body has been established to represent the interests of course providers in the further and higher educational sectors offering courses that are on the National Framework.

The ICPA offers an invaluable and unique opportunity for course providers to discuss and exchange views with their fellow providers on all matters relevant to the delivery of courses that lead to nationally accredited awards such as FETAC, HETAC, ILM, CIM, CMI, PMI and so forth.

Members have a distinct edge in making their views known on important issues through the Association who will lobby at national and European levels on important issues that affect providers and learners as well as liaising with appropriate national and overseas awarding bodies.

The ICPA will contact awarding bodies directly to represent the interests of members.

The ICPA will lobby the Minister for Education to secure representation on the Councils’ of national awarding bodies.

The ICPA will consult and liaise with the Department of Education and agencies in relation to issues affecting both the interests of members and the further and higher education sectors generally and will submit comments on draft documents such as EU Directives, impending legislation, up-coming regulations and any changes to the Qualifications (Education & Training) Act of 1999.

The ICPA is the unified and collective voice of course providers in the further and higher education sectors. Make sure your views are heard by joining the ICPA today. Fill in and return the application form to become a full member of the ICPA.

The ICPA also offers course providers who are planning to offer courses leading to FETAC and HETAC awards  and also awards on the National Framework the opportunity to join as Associate members.  There is a separate application form for this category of membership.
